Save Oxford Stadium Calendar 2019

THIS A3 portrait calendar highlights the Save Oxford Stadium campaign, and features classic photographs from the illustrious history of Oxford Speedway.

Photographs by some of the top photographers in speedway are used with the kind permission of The John Somerville Collection (www.skidmarks1928.com).

The calendar is printed on 250gsm silk art paper and wiro bound for display.

Each month features a photograph from a classic Oxford Speedway era including; fans' favourites from the great Cheetahs period of the 1980's - Hans Nielsen, Simon Wigg and Martin Dugard; David Howe, Adam Skornicki and Eric Andersson from the Cheetahs final two seasons racing; a classic image from 1965 of Arne Pander and the great Ivan Mauger; Dag Lovaas, Bob Kilby and Gordon Kennett from the Rebels era; Jimmy Nilsen, Armando Castagna and Michael Coles from the mid-nineties; a spectacular shot of Laurence Hare from 1999; and a classic Mike Patrick christmas themed photo of Hans Nielsen and Marvyn Cox to top the year off. It's a smorgasbord of great images to keep Oxford Speedway alive until the sport returns to it's rightful place at Oxford Stadium.

The calendar has been sponsored by former Cheetah Spencer Timmo of S. D. Timmo Car Sales Ltd, a sterling supporter of the Save Oxford Stadium campaign.

Once again, proceeds from the sale of the Save Oxford Stadium Calendar will be donated to the Speedway Riders' Benevolent Fund. Now in it's third year, the Save Oxford Stadium calendar series has so far raised over £600 for the SRBF.

The calendar is priced at £10.00 + £3.00 P&P and calendars are sent out in a carded envelope.
